Today, we’re delighted to announce the launch of two brand new services, Videvo Plus and Videvo Pro! Over the past 12-months we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring together 120,000 additional stock files, combined with an enhanced browsing experience and some exciting new account features.
The first thing to point out is that everything that was previously free on the site is still free, and always will be. What’s more we will continue to build on our free library as we always have done.
So, let’s delve into some of the awesome new features of these new services:
- 20,000 premium stock footage clips
- 100,000 music tracks and sound effects
- Extended licensing on selected clips
- Higher quality downloads on selected video clips (Prores and Jpeg compression)
- Access to download history
- Downloadable End User License Agreements (coming soon)
- No adverts or sponsors
It marks an exciting new offering for Videvo too: Sound Effects and Music tracks… 100,000 of them! We’ve teamed up with Audio Hero (www.audiohero.com) to bring you this incredible selection of high quality music tracks and sound effects, all provided in 24-bit WAV format.
So, where on the site can you find this new premium content?
Well, we’ve created a new icon to represent these new subscription services – the Videvo Subscription lightning bolt. Wherever you see this, you know you’re on the right track to find awesome new content. The blue lightning bolt represents the Videvo Plus subscription (access to premium videos), and the orange lightning bolt represents the Videvo Pro subscription (access to premium videos and premium audio files).
In addition to this, we’ve added new navigation options for Music and Sound Effects at the top of the website and in the footer. For premium video files, we’ve displayed these alongside the free content, which can be easily differentiated from the free content by the blue lightning bolt icon overlay on video thumbnails.
Free videos are now marked with a Free icon overlay. If you don’t like the icon overlays, you can choose to hide them by selecting the “Hide Overlays” checkbox at the top of browse pages.
We understand that Videvo was set up as a free website, and some may not like the idea of seeing premium content behind a paywall. That’s why we’ve included a feature to hide premium content and only display free clips. To do this, simply select the “Only show free clips” checkbox at the top of the browse pages.
Although we’re very proud of the new features we’ve added, we would love to get your feedback to see how we can do things better. Love it or hate it, you can leave your comments in our Feedback page. You can also leave a review on popular platforms such as RushRadar and TrustPilot.
We’ll be adding more how-to guides in the coming days, but for now, we’ll let you explore and find out for yourself.
We hope you enjoy using the new services.
